LOST Chihuahua - white w/black spots - REWARD $$$

EDIT: If you will be in or near Hollywood, print and put up posters for my lost dog Moo http://media.neoglam.com/moo-poster.pdf

My boyfriend and I were in a very bad car accident on Sunday night at the corner of Fountain and Mc Cadden. My pet chihuahua, Moo was in the car with us. She appeared unharmed after the collision, however she freaked out and ran away. Witnesses say she was last seen safely crossing Highland at De Longpre.

I yelled for help and for someone to catch her, but the gawkers just stood around doing nothing.

A lead claims to have seen her enter one of the lower-level businesses at the West Hollywood Gateway on Santa Monica and La Brea, shortly after the accident. This lead is convinced an employee or a patron took her in, but so far no one's admitted anything of the sort.

Despite being hurt we wandered the streets for 3 hour putting up 200 posters the night of the accident, 100 more yesterday and more today.

I'm offering a generous REWARD for her safe return. Please help.

Again, her name is Moo, she's a female Chihuahua, about 4 years old and between 5 to 7 lbs. She's very smart, white+black with a near-perfect black circle on her back in addition to other black spots. See photo and email me with any questions. Thank you so much.

OMG this post made me cry! I am a HUGE animal lover and I would seriously lose it if something happened to either of my cats, so I can imagine how you are feeling. I wish I could find your pup for you... I wouldn't even want a reward. I just want you to know I am praying you find your beautiful Moo. Please let us know the good news when you do get her back because I will be sad until I hear otherwise. Hold on to hope!!!!

I also hope you are okay from your accident.

Don't stop there - contact all the shelters, and the rescue groups that work that area. ASPCA. Everyone.

And vet clinics - a lot of people take strays there, and if she's even slightly injured (ie limping a little) a well meaning person might just take her to a vet.

omg i am so so sorry. :( I'm glad you weren't horribly hurt in the accident and as a fellow chihuahua owner, my heart is breaking for you. I hope you find her. Good luck.

OMG--you poor things!! I'm so sorry you were in an accident, but it sounds like you both came out of it ok if you were able to walk around putting up posters. Still--I'm so sorry. That's awful.

I don't live in that area but I have some friends who do. I will send them a note and tell them to keep an eye out for Moo.

I hope you and boyfriend are fine and that you find your dog safe and sound very soon.

I'm so sorry, she reminds me of my cutie.

I read a terrible article about this guy how was in a car accident and his dog was terribly injured & the othe one ran away. I bought my dog a car seat cause it scared me so bad.

I hope you guys reunite soon!

What a nightmare. I am so so sorry.

We get a lot of chihuahuas through our rescue group (billfoundation.org) but I'll tell the animal coordinator to be on the lookout.

Hate to reply to my own comment, but also try calling and putting up signs at local vets in the area as well, someone might have brought Moo in.

Good luck! I will repost this and talk to the guys at my company (we regularly transport in that area). I don't know what I would do if anything happened to my dog.

Good luck. I walk my dog off the leash, and he's disappeared a few times, but never more than a few agonizing minutes. (Once, he waited for me outside the front door to our apartment with a look that said "Where the hell were YOU?")

I hope she comes home soon.

Thank you - it's possible someone who lives around there would have picked her up. The posters are especially helpful, in part because some of them get removed by people or by the city. Thank you so much!

I am so sorry this happened! I hope you find her safe and as soon as possible!

My chihuahua, Hugo got let out accidentally (grr former roommate). He was taken in by people who cared for him until they found me. He didn't have his collar on and they still found me. I was hanging up signs in the area where he ran off. He was returned to me. My faith in humanity was restored. I hope some nice people find Moo and bring her back to you.

I know how scary this all feels. Good luck!!! Hope you guys heal quickly!

Oh dear. I am very sorry. I lost a very beloved pet in a quite similar fashion... so I can understand a bit of what you're going through.
Some of your posters are still up - I was just at the WeHo Gateway and saw a few down La Brea. I live in the area and will keep my eyes peeled.
Will send very good thoughts your way and hope she turns up soon. :/
